I'd like to suggest that you have a chat with the Competitions Team at
Pro Imaging about this "opportunity".
They liaise with organisers of events that require the handing over of
large numbers of images to ensure that the issues regarding property
rights are clearly stated and understood by all parties prior to
images being submitted.

These are issues that need to be addressed -- especially in light of
the US Senate recently approving the "Thieves Charter" (S. 2913: Shawn
Bentley Orphan Works Act of 2008) which will remove the freedom that
image creators currently have to choose to do what they wish with
their own property.
