Hi Klaus,
I remember a discussion sometime ago about blurring the images before using
tiffgamut could improve the gamut boundary calculation. I just examined the
applescript you sent and I didn't find any blurring in the code.
Could you please explain this point? Did you perform any test with blurring?
Thank you for posting this package!
Best Regards,
Lorenzo

Hi all,
I'm pleased to announce the release of GaMapICC, my Mac OS X GUI for
Argyll's device link tools (tiffgamut, collink and cctiff).
The droplet accepts one or more TIFF images as input, derives an
optimized gamut mapping for the selected output device, and applies this
gamut mapping to the images.
You can choose from 3 gamut mapping strategies: "Source Profile
specific", "Image specific" or "Sequence specific".
There are some memory management issues causing collink to slow down or
break sometimes on some systems, but I couldn't resist to release it
anyway: <http://digitalproof.info/gamapicc/>
Many thanks to Graeme for his excellent work. I hope GaMapICC can help
to gain a wider group of users access to his tools.
Klaus Karcher
