LaCie 730

Hi

I've just had a Lacie 730 RGB LED monitor in to test and it looks pretty impressive. The gamut is very large, exceeding ISO coated and most of Adobe RGB (1998). It looks to have a lot in common with the HP Dreamcolor, although it is an 8-bit display, not 10-bit.

They've built the UDACT test in to the new version of BlueEye Pro as well and this includes a 9 point uniformity check. The screen past the test for without any problems.

The only thing I would criticize is the lack of an L* option in the BlueEye software.

If any body wants to see the UDACT report or the profile I'll email them off list.

Regards

Rob Griffith
