Hi Randy,
You're right when you say it's a real headache for everyone involved.
I'd wish we'd see the day where all printers manufacturers agree on some
common color architecture. I find the Fierys convoluted. I can't speak for
the HPps. And Onyx is Onyx, their RGB processing never worked for me. What
really turns me on is a customer who has no appreciation for the
complexities of color management expecting perfect results from every
workstations, be it Mac or PC (XP, 98, Vista), regardless of the
applications, with a one button "print" interface -- my favorite. Boy, do I
like the Xerox's printers with their "no color management" option. What's a
god send.
