So you're on a Mac? That could explain part of the problem -- kidding ;-)
For sure, the factory profile won't help as it does not contain a VCGT tag.
And even if it did, it would certainly do you no good with your particular
units.
Your description of the problem does not seem to relate to a gamma issue but
more like posterization, which I have seen, on my Mac G4, under OSX, even on
better monitors.

Shoën. Do you have color temperature or some custom RGB controls on your
monitors? By any chance? Pray that you do, otherwise, you might be stuck
using your monitors at their factory color temperature and gamma. Which you
could always try? Just reset your monitors to the factory settings, lauch
iMatch v3.62, with your EyeOnePro, choose everything native, luminance,
gamma, and white point. Try that.
