Edmund,
Take a look at the measured spectra of the Samsung XL24 monitor I posted a
few months ago on my website and you tell me where you see spikes in these
spectra. Regardless of their composition (phosphor added like in CCFL) you
can't say LEDs have spikey emissions. Unless you have some spectra of your
own you'd like to share with the List that show the contrary. I'm always
opened to learn but my humble spectral measurements have not shown this to
be the case.
