I have managed to set up a system (of sorts) by using the IDEAlliance
ISO 12647-7_Control Strip, i1 UV spectro, and the PMP Measure Tool.
My proofing system is an Epson 9800, with Epson Standard Proofing
Paper, ColorBurst rip. The biggest hurdle was to figure out how to
configure the data files so that Measure Tool would allow me to
measure the control strip and to compare the measurements with the
data files.
Question? What flavor of DeltaE should I be using? PMP Measure Tool
offers three possibilities, Delta E, Delta E 94, and Delta E 2000.
All three yield quite different results.
Thus far my experiments indicate that Delta E 2000 gives the" most
pleasing" results, and Delta E the "least pleasing".
