How could I guess something like that ? Thomas provied an interview
which was posted on the web which described the process by which the
first profiles were arrived at. As I remember there was even a
photograph of the lightbooth. If I want to comment about what's
happening in Irak, and Mr. Bush gives an interview about having
captured Saddam, and there's a mugshot of Saddam to confirm it, well I
can take that and run with it.
I think that rather than waste your time on me here, Chris, you should
reassure members of this list that at some point in time Adobe moved
to a non-spiky light source for measuring the "profile" of digital
cameras. You might even describe the actual light setup *now* used. Or
is it secret ? At least Thomas was open about his methods, which is
the mark of a good scientist - everyone is entitled to a mistake.
