I have seen similar inhomogeneities several times with brand new panels. I guess it's a mechanical problem due to the shipment in tight styrofoam moldings. From my experience, it should disappear or at least decrease significantly after some days. Hearing that it's still there after about two weeks perplexes me (the more so as I also ordered one).
