Correct, CR/LR's internal working space is RIMM (essentially ProPhoto RGB primaries, linear gamma). But colors can clip if you export to a smaller space. For example, the last patch in the 3rd row of the standard 24-patch ColorChecker lies outside the sRGB gamut.
