Again, how "good" a profile is depends on the standard to which it is
compared (which should be the same as the design goal used to create the
profile).
If the profile is intended to provide a pleasing rendering of certain colors
(like memory colors), then it is unlikely to give good results when tested
for colorimetric accuracy.
Also, as already explained -- a profile that provides good average
colorimetric reproduction of real-world scenes will frequently provide poor
colorimetric reproduction of test targets, and vice-versa. This is mostly
due to observer metamerism (because the camera sensors/filters are not
linear transforms of XYZ functions).
