We have received a request for the removal of your email address,
"email@hidden" from the email@hidden
mailing list. To confirm that you want to be removed from this
mailing list, simply reply to this message, keeping the Subject:
header intact. Or visit this web page:

Is someone here angry enough at me to do this sort of thing ?
Could someone who has access to the listserv logs look up the IP which
originated the unsubscribe ?
This isn't anything sinister. It happens from time to time when
somebody replies to a message from the list but forgets to trim their
personalized footer info:

If another subscriber subsequently clicks that unsubscribe link
(looking for the URL to unsubscribe themselves) it'll lead them to a
page to unsubscribe YOU since your email address is the one embedded
in the link. The best thing to do is to remember to trim out that
footer when you post.
