Having one monitor mirror the other guarantees that the color on at
least one of them will be incorrect. Having them display as different
parts of a larger virtual desktop allows them each to be separately
calibrated and profiled. Using the same profile for two displays is
like using the same suit for two differently sized and shaped men; it
can't fit both of them, and without custom tailoring, it won't really
fit either.
