Hi Group,
Specifically... Does anyone have any experience in calibrating and
profiling Toshiba laptops. The Satellite L300 is the particular
machine I am referring to.
Primarily I am a Mac user, but have a client who needs this machine
to display with at least some semblance of accuracy.
I am able to achieve a reasonable match with my MacBook Pro and Eizo,
but this Toshiba laptop is really not coming to the party. It appears
quite blue in general, and gives the impression that image highlights
are blown out, when in actual fact they are not. The same image looks
great on my calibrated Mac's.
I am using an x-rite DTP94 and monaco Optix, which I have alway's
found to be satisfactory. I also downloaded new PC drivers from x-
rite to use with this "Vista" machine.
Even before calibrating I checked the monitors native state, which
was 6800k, and once completed luminance was 120 and intended white
point was 6500k at gamma 2.2.
But Photoshop still displayed the images much the same..... too blue,
and blown out.
Any idea's here..... am I missing something ?
Thanks
Kahn
