Thanks guys for your quick response and helpful insight. Appreciated.

It seems at this price point I might be pushing s*** uphill, and time is against me. So evaluating a test chart visually on this screen and comparing to my calibrated Eizo might be the only reasonable way forward. Not ideal, but hopefully we can get something useable in this way.
