All the preceding remarks are true. The achilles' heel of the EyeOne is that it depends on the USB bus for power, and not all USB busses are powered at the same level. You can't always tell which port will work, though I've never found one on a keyboard that would, without extra power. On jobs I always bring a powered hub. Cables: True again. This week I lost two precious hours on a job because the crappy (but not cheap!) cable I picked up at Office Depot (having left mine out of my EyeOne case) prevented calibration. I second Mike's remark about the EyeOne's durability but won't elaborate on how I know.
