Klaus und Karl and Thomas,
I live in Kanada. Of course, when I install the software, I am asked to
confirm whether I live in the US or not (is it actually North America?).
When I proceed to calibrate my screen mit basICColor Display, when I get to
the choice of transfer function, at the top of the list of choice is L*, and
in bracket, right next to its right, there is the comment "(Recommended)".
Is the "Recommended" different in the rest of the world?
Seems to me that, to be consistent with the recent posts by Karl and the
others that the recommended would be CIECAM02. Is that the case? Which would
explains a lot...
