You printer isn¹t printing RGB though, so there¹s a conversion going just
prior to output to your Printer¹s CMYK space (with whatever profile it
happens to be using). You can still have the benefit of working with RGB
with a late binding workflow...converting upon output to your printer.
Personally I would rather choose a relatively high gamut CMYK space (like
GracolCoated1 or Forgra39) and have a reasonable simulation of an actual
production print, rather than a wider gamut inkjet.
