EyeOne min patch size in strip mode

The EyeOne tech specs doc lists the "Patch Size Min" as 6mm x 7mm. However, this parameter is specifically listed under the Eye-One iO heading. Under the Eye-One Pro device heading there is no patch size parameter listed. Does the 6mm x 7mm size limit pertain to the EyeOne in all cases regardless of how it's used? I'm trying to determine the minimum patch size when using the EyeOne in strip mode.
