On a related note, when using ColorPort and an EyeOne in strip mode, does
the patch size saved with the target matter? For example, say the target is
created with 12mm patches. It's then output slightly smaller to fit a
particular space on a sheet, making the patches 10mm. When reading that
target in strip mode with the EyeOne, is the expected patch size of 12mm
taken into consideration or are the patch boundries determined by the data
being read?

The recommended patch dimensions for scanning without the iO table are:
Minimum patch size in scan direction = 10mm
Minimum patch size perpendicular to scan direction = 8mm
Recommended gap size in scan direction 0.5mm -1.0mm
You will see that these minimum values are hard coded within ColorPort and
MeasureTool which are the default target building software options for the
i1.

The EyeOne tech specs doc lists the "Patch Size Min" as 6mm x 7mm.
However,
this parameter is specifically listed under the Eye-One iO heading. Under
the
Eye-One Pro device heading there is no patch size parameter listed. Does
the
6mm x 7mm size limit pertain to the EyeOne in all cases regardless of how
it's
used? I'm trying to determine the minimum patch size when using the
EyeOne in
strip mode.
