FWIW, Bret Hesler described a ColorPort hack on this list that allows one to adjust the allowed minimum patch sizes, leaders, footers, spacing, etc.

For the EyeOne, the target can be scaled as the boundaries are determined by the measurements. However, this is not the case with the DTP70 or Pulse for example.
