Hold on - it's not quite "retired". It's still being supplied to folks such as Integrated-Color and perhaps others - I don't know - for integration with calibration/profiling software. Indeed it does an excellent job on conventional sRGB gamut displays; howevere I've heard (not personally tested) it is less well-suited to the newer displays having gamut in the ARGB(98) range.

Forgotten? Hardly. All those I know who have it, whether "geeks" or not,
hold on to it dearly, and bemoan its "retirement" by XRite.
