Why can't a person use "paper that is keyed to specific printing standards", with the GMG RIP?

You can pretty much match any printing condition, be it SWOP, GRACoL or
FOGRA, with either of these systems.
Of the two, I slightly prefer ORIS, mostly because it works with papers that
are keyed to specific printing standards and do not use UV brighteners,
whereas GMG uses a very bright stock and uses paper simulation. Both
approaches have their pros and cons. Both systems will simulate offset
screening fairly well, not as clean as a hard dot proofer like a Kodak
Approval, but good enough to satisfy clients who ask for it. If this is not
a requirement, regular continuous-tone proofing is the way to go, using an
Epson, HP or a Canon printer.

Hi,
I want to buy a new RIP for hardware proof.
In your opinion. What is the best RIP to use? Why?
I have a Prinergy Workflow v.5 without ColorFlow PRO, EPSON 7800 and
MatchPrint v3.1.3.
I'm thinking two possibilities to work. A MatchPrint Up-Grade for v4.+
Certification (ISO12647-7) or GMG ColorProof + Certification (ISO12647-7).
The focus is to work with Fogra39L.
