It's the same device but it's not licensed to work with EyeOne Match.
If you have software such as ProfileMaker with dongle it will work.
We wanted to the EFI ES-1000 for monitor calibration using EyeOne Match,but did not work. You can load the EFI software and just use the monitor calibration on any number of machines, no limit.
By the way the monitor calibration is indistinguishable from EyeOne Match.
