Hi Lee,
>From reading the User Manual, viewSIGN appears to have a sound conceptual basis.
It uses a standard "proofing" target, ISO-12647-7. It has a requirement for minimum monitor luminance (120 cd/m2). It wants D50 chromaticities (not mandatory, I gather, but one looses points for deviating from it?). And it comes pre-loaded with the most useful ISO standard print conditions.
To your knowedge, is there any incompatibility with testing for IDEAlliance monitor compliance? Is this something the user can add at his/her leisure? Or are there any plans of turning viewSIGN into a more extensive IDEAlliance display testing system in a close future, say, the way PatchTool does it currently (www.babelcolor.com)?
Thank's the shameless plug ;-)
