Hello. This is a question about the color temperature of Solux bulbs
which we plan to use for proofing lights. There are two bulbs rated
at 4700K and 5000K.We purchased the 5000K bulbs expecting the color
temperature to be fairly close to this, but when we measured it we
see it is 4450K.
Given you just wrote:
There is a difference between 5000K black body or 5000K daylight,
and 5000K CCT (Correlated Color Temperature).
Do you think the color temp of Solux bulbs in this context is
producing either daylight or a Black Body?
Evaluating a light source with one dimension
(CCT) rather than two seems to be common, but is annoyingly sloppy.
Yup.
