I agree - camera moire has been a real issue. Some cameras have anti
moire filters, some don't. More resolution can help - to an extent but
even at 39megapixels it can be an issue. Hasselblad's relatively new
Phocus software does an amazing job at eliminating moire (yet another
compelling feature that strengthens their brand).

Another source of moire, and one I see more than any other since the
advent of digital photography, is brought on at image capture. For
example, fabric patterns too closely matched to the camera's ccd
causing interference. Stochastic screening won't help there. ;)
