Maybe I should profile my eyes ;-) .

... maybe you should consult an opthalmologists. I noticed this effect at myself (in addition to rapidly decreasing visual acuity) just before one of my lenses had been replaced. In the first days after the surgery the effect went into reverse and returned to normal a few days after. I suffered from an age-untypical, rapidly emerging one-sided cataract.
