They have lenses for that: should you need cataract surgery, they can
provide you with a range of replacement lens tints. It may seem a bit
illogical to have your bad eye tinted yellow to match your less bad
eye, then that second eye tinted yellow to match the first tinted lens
a couple of years later when you have your second surgery... but the
alternative is to have differing tints in between times. Not to
mention different brightnesses. I have not noticed whether the pupils
of people with cataracts in one eye are differentially dilated...
In your case you could have either glasses or contacts differentially
tinted, if it suited you.
