Thank you for your concern, but the difference is so slight that I'm not
worried about it. Its just interesting that it exists. There are no
cataracts to worry about yet. I remember noticing this difference when I
was in my 20s and it has not changed.
If both eyes saw the exact same thing, there would be no way I could
ever know if there was a cool or warm preference in my eyes, so I
actually consider it an advantage (of some sort). How could one tell
otherwise, if both eyes are the same, since seeing is comparative?
Besides my images are made with electron illumination, and since the
color synthesized, it can be whatever I want it to be. So in that way I
have it a bit easier than all you fellows using light to illuminate your
subjects. However, like the rest of you, I still have to make my prints
match my display.
Regards,
David

Maybe I should profile my eyes ;-) .
They have lenses for that: should you need cataract surgery, they can
provide you with a range of replacement lens tints. It may seem a bit
illogical to have your bad eye tinted yellow to match your less bad
eye, then that second eye tinted yellow to match the first tinted lens
a couple of years later when you have your second surgery... but the
alternative is to have differing tints in between times. Not to
mention different brightnesses. I have not noticed whether the pupils
of people with cataracts in one eye are differentially dilated...
In your case you could have either glasses or contacts differentially
tinted, if it suited you.
