You might want to double check that upon creating the new profile from their
proof, and assigning it to the images in Photoshop, that the softproof (on
your calibrated/profiled monitor) matches fairly well the proof they
supplied you. If it does, your solution should work. If it doesn¹t, there
could be some further color voodoo going on that you aren¹t accounting for.
I¹m assuming that the current softproof honoring SWOPv2 does not match their
proof.
