Idealliance ISO 12647-7_Control Strip2007 and the IT8.7/4 target on
there proofing device. Have them send it to me so I can create a
profile from the proof. Then, create a device link profile using the
profile created from their proof as the source and the
GraCoL2006_Coated1v2 as the destination. Then output their files to
our GraCoL 7 proof, we should be able to match it on press.

yes, but you need a sophisticated profiling tool and maybe more than
just a IT8.7/4 target.
Anything I should watch out for?
... to get paid for the effort you put in as you are not the one who is
to blame for that mess -- /You/ stick to the standards, but /you/ have
to carry the can for the fact that somebody else dosn't :(
