Yes this is what I was aiming for. (though with white vinyl now)

Once I locate some suitable proofing material - that most closely
approximates the final printed white vinyl material - I was going to use
ORIS ColorTuner/Epson 9800/Proofing Vinyl to simulate an ISOCoatedv2.

My overseas Asian printer adheres to the ISO 12647-2 standard, though not
sure how this applies when using a glossy vinyl substrate and not a #1
Coated paper. Are you saying they can adjust (calibrate) their sheetfed
presses to hit 12647-2 using a white glossy vinyl sheet?

I can envision that with the right vinyl proofing material I can get my ORIS
ColorTuner/Epson 9800 to closely simulate a ISOCoatedv2 proof. What I'm not
so clear on is there some conversion I need to do with my CMYK files that
are currently in the ISOCoatedv2 space - so that they print correctly once
before they get sent to my printer overseas?
