Hello José Bueno,
...Is Macbeth brand the
same which was later Gretag Macbeth and X-Rite?
My understanding is that Macbeth was a division of Munsell.
Munsell was purchased by Kollmorgen, then by Gretag, and finally X-Rite.
Some of these instruments could certainly be helpful in old-fashioned dark
rooms, if properly calibrated.

Hello:
Thanks for the fun and response. Also I saw the last steam-boat
fishing in the Canary Islands because my father worked as an
electrical engineer.
Another question is whether such kind of answer. Is Macbeth brand the
same which was later Gretag Macbeth and X-Rite?
And in consideration of becoming obsolete, is the emergence of
industrial processes?. Still working darkroom at the request of my
students.
