So, you don't think it's a fair question to ask a company that if I invest $3,000 today in their current products that I'm not going to get screwed in 3 months when the new/improved product comes out? I think it's fair to ask that, not that I expect to get a candid answer, especially on a public forum. It's still a legit question though.

As a reseller of their products, I'd like to know that my customer's investment is going to be protected otherwise I'm not going to recommend them. Sorry but "Protection of investment is important and upgrade paths are part of that" isn't reassuring enough for me at this point. Something a bit more concrete would be helpful.
