Myself and a colleague were evaluating some custom RGB profiles a
couple of months ago and both agreed that Monaco PROFILER (v4.8.3) was
performing better than ProfileMaker (v5.0.8) in both smoothness and
maintaining color saturation (we did not test/measure for accuracy
however). The only caveat is that we only tested the "Colorful" gamut
mapping in PM5. When I get a chance, I'd like to test the other gamut
mapping options to see if there's an improvement.

As far as I know there will be no upgrade to Monaco Profiler, This
being the
case, is Monaco still top of the heap in terms of making RGB Printer
Profiles?
