Neil,
I gather that you use one of the newer HP z3200 series. Are you using the
native custom RGB profiling capabilities of the driver at all? Anything good
you could say about HP's profiling technology? (Other than using "canned"
profiles) I confess I'm not all too familiar with HP's z color workflow.
