Sorry, wasn't really specific enough in my question. I'm specifically
wondering how my esteemed colleagues would approach profiling a low end
printer (say, up to something like a Canon Pro 9500 Mark II). So, no
RIPs, using ICC profiles, with the specific aim of improving color
accuracy.
And it's definitely to-MA-toe, or let's call the whole thing off.

Calibrate (linearize) or *profile*?
RIP or no RIP (driver)?
ICC or proprietary?
To-MAY-toe or To-MA-toe?
:-)

Hey all, quick poll: what methods do you use to calibrate your
printers for color accuracy? I'm thinking of things like eye one
match, Spyder 3, etc?
