Roger,

If you are reversing type for offset,  100K enables superblack pullbacks which can be appropriate, especially on lighter weight papers. Some rips will pullback on lighter K-values but I think higher values are best for reducing halo risk. I often wish I could dictate the black % in color separations not only for max black.
