Hey guys...
I'm pc based so I found the entire discussion about the removal of ColorSyncScripting more of an academic interest as it doesn't affect me BUT! I happened to mention it on a forum I sysop on ( http://www.desktoppublishingforum.com/ ) during a discussion of how SL might pounce on one and I mentioned the list discussion that ColorSyncScripting had been removed from SL.
One of the forum member who uses AppleScript quite a bit replied with the following:
"that's interesting. "ColorSyncScripting" -- which is the name of a component -- was removed, but ColorSync scripting is still there, via a different API."
Note: I'm not sure how the above line will break so just in case it's not clear:
"ColorSyncScripting" was removed
"ColorSync scripting" is still there...
Might this be helpful for those of you use have found that you are getting errors with existing (pre-SL) scripts???
Just thought I'd pass this along...please post to the list (or reply to me directly if you'd prefer) if you find that info helpful...
