>>Lee Badham <email@hidden>: I think most of the functionality was moved to 'Image Events' instead of ColorSyncScripting. I know, the scripts I was using work with a direct replacement.
As I mentioned in my original post, I'm pc-based so I don't really know anything about this except what I have read on the list and it was my understand (perhaps faulty) that there are certain things that cannot be done using Image Events/sips and so when the forum post I quoted mentioned that the "ColorSync scripting" was "there" (Martin, I thought that meant it was accessible in some way??) and that it called a different API (the old one?? pre-10.4, 10.5, 10.6???) that perhaps an existing script could be modified to call/use "ColorSync scripting" and the old API would be used???
>>Martin Orpen <email@hidden>: The ColorSyncScripting.app which is hidden away in /System/Library/ScriptingAdditions was removed in 10.6 so I don't think you could argue it was "still there".
As I mentioned above, I took "there" to me that it was still accessible--somehow auotmagically...'-}}

Again, as I mentioned above, it was my understanding that there were some actions that were no longer available with the newer Image Events/sips approach?
