Hello all,
I work in the color retouching department for a retail chain, and have a
question about monitor calibration devices. We are currently using the
Eye-One Match at each workstation, and every station has their own
colorimeter (i1 Display). The problem that we have run into is
inconsistency with the colorimeters. We have done tests with different
units run through the calibration process on the same monitor, and have
gotten drastically different results (the different colorimeters being the
only variable in the process). We are talking about removing the variables
by getting one or two colorimeters or possibly spectrophotometers and
sharing, and I am looking for recommendations on devices. Any and all
advice would be appreciated.
