If price were no object, then it may make sense to exclude lower-priced
options from consideration, since at their price point they are unlikely to
include uniformity compensation features. But I would bet that most people
on this forum have limited budgets and come here looking for help finding
the best compromise between quality and price.
So, whereas it is instructive to learn more about high-end options, it would
also be helpful to examine more closely and with an open mind what these
cheaper alternatives have to offer (which is sometimes surprisingly good),
rather than toss them aside prejudicially.
