Well put Marco,
For me I wish I could afford the "Best" but I cant.
I took a look at the Apple LED display looks nice but I am pc based and don't have access to a mini display port video card.
So for me this leaves me with I think 3 reasonable prices options.
NEC2690
or.
HP LP2475w
Dell U2410
Both the Dell and HP offer 100% Adobe RGB coverage and cost 50% less then the NEC and from what I understand after reading everyones response to my original question is none of these monitors are uniform unless you spend over $2k which is not in my budget.
