Now at least I have something positive to try. If a fresh install of

out some legacy files and probably regained some space.
If that doesn’t work, it would be real, real useful to provide a
system profile and info about the driver. Rather than stay in the past
as others have suggested or just complain, it would be far more useful
to the community to get to the bottom of this issue. Normally I’d
suggest this would be the perfect list to do this, having people
who’ve discovered an issue make a detailed list of all the possible
software and hardware components such that we can narrow down one or
more areas that might cause the problem in the first place. Some of us
are operating as expected, we can compare our systems to yours.
This list can be a constructive place to work out such problems. Its
also apparently a place where political agenda and less than useful
recommendations serving no purpose of getting to the bottom of such
problems has become far too common.
