Some different issues here.
1 Basiccolor products are really good. But people who already have
working GMB/Monaco setups may want to keep them.
2. As Xrite seems to have gone through a financial roller coaster,
they are behind on routine maintenance.
3. SL is being regarded as a nightmare by some of us who do
graphics/photo. I guess it does ok for iTunes.
On balance, I'd say that the current sad state of Xrite offers
interesting possibilities for the smaller players.
