Hello everyone, I'm a long time lurker and first time poster.
I am trying to create Photoshop settings that will simulate the
effect of gloss laminating a Gracol7 printed sheet. We also do a
matte varnish treatment that we want to simulate. We want to be able
to give our customers / designers a method for predicting the look of
the finished product.
It's a long story and I won't go into detail, but we found that
making ICC profiles and DLP's of the conditions did not give us good
results from our ink jet proofer. Has anyone tried this Photoshop
method? We've been chasing our tails on this for a while now. Any
help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you, Tom
