Not sure what you meant by quality control.
But gamers has long been touting that VGA from
an ATI's card always gives superior picture
than NVIDIA's. At first I had thought they were
referring to 3D rendering part alone, then I knew
it's not.
I thnik what J.Raimar Kuhnen-Burger's
referring to the word ‘same type’ was not ‘same
model of card’ because same model of card
should have same driver.

Hmm. Quality control on these cards is obviously a lot worse than
one would hope for.
