I've used my aging EOS 350D and a Beseler slide duplicator for several
years to get very good results from negs. A camera can actually do
better than many scanners if you use a good lens, capture in high bit
depth or better still, use a HDR workflow.
To get pleasing color from a color neg you don't need a fancy ICC
profile either. Just follow the step-by-step instructions in my free
