Dear Marco,
If that what I wrote does not match the subject you started above, I
don't know.
I did not answer with Vista, Adobe or Epson problems, but stayed on
the APPLE COLORSYNC topic.

<snip> All the progress in color management has been made by
applications from companies other than Apple (Photoshop, etc.),
whereas the basic architecture of ColorSync within the Mac OS seems
to have remained fairly stagnant.
To be precise, the way Apple does color management in 10.6 regarding
displays
is not only stagnant, but a big step back.

Hello,
to add to the list:
I wonder if images on a second monitor still get gamut compressed
through the profile of the primary monitor. Which means:
Image profile -> primary monitor profile -> secondary monitor
profile.
( I have not had the chance to test the 10.6.3 update yet)
I am not sure what to add to this particular subject, but it would
certainly be a great topic for a SEPARATE thread!
Could we please respect the intent of the OP (me) and stick to what
he (I) intended to speak of?
Or does every discussion have to veer off into inconsequential,
free-form tangents? We are all adults, not teenagers with ADD, right?
